Comic Relief unsuitable for children

-

❑ Did BBC 2 have to turn comic relief into a freak show after 10 o’clock? They need to take on board that children were still watching as its the weekend. Are they serious about getting money for children, or just making an obscene show for adults? Not a great departure for Lenny. Sharon Frip

❑ Comic Relief took a dark turn and became all of a sudden a different show. We as a family were so appalled by how rude it became, especially as our 8 year daughter was still watching with us as she invested so much interest in it from school etc. I am certain this is not how Lenny intended his final show to end. Paul

❑ I have to say I am no prude, but Comic Relief took a sour turn in my opinion when it switched to BBC 2 after 10pm. It certainly didn’t inspire me to part with any cash. And it was a disgraceful end to Lenny Henry’s last show.

❑ So Lenny Henry left Comic Relief. Did that mean the BBC had to drag it through the gutter after 10pm? Thin Lizzy ❑ Let’s face it. Lenny Henry has got far more out of Comic Relief than it has out of him. ANNE P. ❑ I’ve just received a letter from Eon Next saying Great News your unit rates are going down, but your Standing Charge is going up by 7p a day to 68.624. We will be paying more for the standing charge than Electric used in some cases. Why can’t the Government cap the charge like it used to Do other readers agree? Can we charge them for having their meters on our property !!!! PMM

❑ MPs don’t earn the £86k they get now. And getting another £5k pay hike. While most people struggle in this country. Sleeping in commons get paid to attend, tax payers subsidize their dinners in commons the money they are on. TOTAL GREED BY MPS. Only in it to line their own pockets. Sunak with his cheesy grin fools nobody. Conservatives have ruined this Country. Hospitals, schools etc, etc. derbyd

❑ Oh my life. A £5k pay increase for MPs Dear lord above. These clowns in charge really have no idea how most are struggling and a lot in dire need of serious help. The disabled, the oaps, the genuine on benefits and basically most of the working class now are in serious trouble. And they add to there cash pots to grab everything going to swell there bellies. Enough is enough. Please. Get these parasites out asap. Bazza 180

❑ There are 62 TORY MPs who are not going to stand for re election and 7 currently under investigation despite a 5.5% pay rise to £91k undeservingly. Our reality is far removed from depleted MPs in a delusional House of Commons. Brian Linford Pontefract

❑ On Saturday multiple stores were hit by a payment crash and couldn’t pay for their goods. I had no problem as I pay by cash anyway. This proves cash is the best way to pay, as it never fails. Technology is the way backwards, not forwards, as most of it fails constantly. John Bolton

❑ Just had the 3G signal switched off my mobile, leaving me with virtually no internet with the pathetically weak 2G version. there was no real need for them to execute this. A lot of older folk will be left with problems. OZZY,LONDON ❑ how can someone be jailed for putting a sticker up. Anyone can say they’re offended by any sticker. freedom of speech now finished. Uk a nasty Chinese state now. Malc

❑ You can’t beat a chilli hot cross bun that’s been toasted, smothered with butter and filled with a well done burger and a slice or two of mature cheddar. RedLeader

❑ my mates so thick he thought “ethics” was a county down south! Tony worksop
