Go Greek if Spain doesn’t want us Brits as tourists

-

❑ Hola from soon to be expensive Tenerife. Have they gorn mad? If they insist on a daily charge (10 euro) I’ve heard then let them eat cake, to quote from someone a bit more erudite than moi. They’ll soon see the error of their ways when their economy drops. We’ll all go somewhere more welcoming with no penalties. Such as el Greco. Regards. Carmen, Birkenhead

❑ carnary islands dont want more tourist, 11 of us just booked turkey instead, plenty of other countries welcome holiday makers, canaries dont rely on tourist money anymore then? paul

❑ Well well. Food price inflation. Increase in shoplifting. profits up 300%. Someone is taking the p. DelBoy Suffolk

❑ We are mugs, tesco almost triple profits, calculators struggle to work out gas / electric company’s profits, water companies record pay outs to shareholders, but were paying through the nose, and Torys do bugger all as there noses are head long in the trough. This country stinks. Mark

❑ people banging on about Angela Rayner and her house stuff just because she’s northern and Labour. Toffee nosed southern Tories have been doing this sort of thing for years. Si, Manchester

❑ CARERS allowance sees a social security benefit of £81.90. Over 35 hrs its just £2.34 ph looking after someone. Their terms allowed recipients to work alongside their benefit up to a maximum of £150. Earning more lost entitlement. Just emerged the GOVT is heartlessly pursuing 26000 carers money erroneously overpaid ‘sometimes just a few quid’ going back a decade forcing pay back or threatened with prison. £2.34 ph paid anywhere would be uproar. Caring for people saves the tax payer billions and yet we see the Tories shamefully harassing our carers. Brian Linford Pontefract

❑ Who else wants ‘Can’t be named for legal reasons’ changed. Evil bstards stab & kill shoud named & shamed. Parents responsible. Picky Mickey R’HAM

❑ How the hell did 5 bulgarians con the benefits office outta 50million quid what where the staff doin, where they workin from home I hope they get all the money back but I wont hold my breath I bet they get of lightly. Joss Mc

❑ as we know British prisons are soft on inmates these Bulgarians who have swindled the government out of £54 million pounds why don’t they ask the Russian government if we give you 5 million pounds we you put them in your prisons please. alphaone Selby

❑ Goes to show how rotten the claim system is when Bugarians can fiddle £54million out of our system yet we have ex soldiers on the street who cannot claim half of what these incomers from other coutries can claim. it should stop and only people who have paid in get money out. Stockton jeff

❑ Is it really that difficult 4 the Post Office bosses 2 write out chqs to the wronged postmasters involved in infamous scandal. ANGST

❑ I cried when I read about a yank hunter who trapped a wolf then tortured it taped its muzzle so it had swollen to 4x its size. He then paraded the poor animal around a bar with photos being taken. He finally put the animal out of its misery. Disgusting. EC

❑ just texting to say how much I agree with Robert Smith my car insurance went up from £269 to £771 with full no claims bonus, clean driving license and 76 years of age. Anon

❑ Every good book deserves to be read more than once. Like this saying, every good teabag deserves to be used more than once. I use one in the morning, put it in a mug with a lid, and re-use it at teatime. I don’t like strong tea so this suits me and is economical.
