Vegas is jackpot for JLS!

Band eye residency

-

THE bright lights of Sin City are calling JLS next.

The manband are the latest Brits eyeing a Las Vegas residency, which would fulfil an ambition to follow in the footsteps of their pop heroes.

Oritsé Williams told me: “It would be a dream come true. Boyz II Men and Usher did a big residency, Jodeci and New Edition

too, so if JLS do it that would be pretty much the pinnacle of our group.”

Although JLS never quite made it in the US, with acts in the same boat like Kylie Minogue going to Vegas, the door is open.

In the meantime the quartet are back-flipping onto a huge outdoor summer tour including at Kew Gardens in London on July 12.

Marvin Humes said: “We are so excited, it’s the first time we’ve done summer shows since 2012. Kew is almost a homecoming gig as well. There might be surprises with it being London. One big party.” The tour also visits castles around the country plus seaside towns like Scarborough and Margate.

Marv added: “It’s the summer holidays so no doubt the families will be coming along too.”

Speaking of families, bandmate Aston Merrygold just became a daddy for the third time in March.

Marvin said: “I got to meet baby Riley twice now. We’re over the moon for him.

“He did it the other way round to me – two boys then got his girl. It’s nice to add another JLS baby to the family.”

This year marks 15 years since the band’s hit Beat Again and they’re planning on sharing rarities with fans at their shows.

Oritsé added: “We still have music we haven’t performed yet from past albums. We have lots of favourites I would love to get into.”
