With a back catalogue that boasts collabs with the likes of Raye, Demi Lovato, Jess Glynne, Madison Beer and Martin Solveig the producer is now taking requests from fans as to who he should work with next. Jax told me: “Before, the way you made music it was like you just lock yourself away and share it when it’s ready, and some people still work like that.

“But I think for dance music, especially, it is about the people’s music really and the dance world is about unity and so I think it’s sick you can put that to them now and my fans respond.”

The formula is clearly working, Jax brought noughties dance legend Cascada out of retirement after listening to what the fans were saying.

He added: “We just done a remix of Never Be Lonely with Cascada and that is because of the fan base saying, ‘You should work with this person or that person’ and I am like, ‘OK, cool, no problem.’

“Because we’re at a stage in our career where I can get in touch with anybody really, so it’s like, ‘OK let me make your dreams come true, let’s do this!’”

On Saturday the Whistle hitmaker reunited with his old pal Raye at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton, and he’s proud to see how far she’s come since they worked together back in 2016 on You Don’t Know Me – Raye’s first Top10.

Jax gushed: “I am buzzing for Raye, I remember when we did You Don’t Know Me I said, ‘This girl is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with or been in the studio with,’ and my prediction has been correct.”
