Wine world mourns Paul Pontallier

Long-time Château Margaux managing director Paul Pontallier has died age 59, after a battle with cancer.

Pontallier, whose death was announced on the eve of the Bordeaux 2015 en primeur campaign, had spent more than 30 years at the first growth, joining the company in 1983 and becoming managing director in 1990.
