Ch Latour 1CC 97 Wonderful 97% Cabernet – a complete departure from the brooding Latour of a decade ago. Fragrant and fresh but the Pauillac weight is there and purity too. A winning gamble on a new style. 2025-2050 Ch Lafite Rothschild 1CC 96 Lafite violets come to the fore, providing finely polished elegance. It seems discreet but the cellar master says 2015 is the most ‘concentrated’ Lafite they have made. This will show as it matures. 2023-2045 Ch Pontet-Canet 5CC 96 A great wine by any standard – and Alfred Tesseron’s standards for his biodynamic vineyards and amphora-matured wine are magnificently evident. 2022-2045
