Wine lovers at naples Winter Wine Festival this January crowded into a room at Florida’s ritz- Carlton Golf resort, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Judgement of Paris – the famous blind tasting held on 24 May 1976 at which Californian wines beat top French labels. it changed the wine world forever. the two winning wineries in 1976, Chateau Montelena and stag’s leap Wine Cellars, have been bragging about the results ever since.
