This estate had a long history of producing a second wine to satisfy the Marquis’ thirst while he waited for the grand vin to mature. From 2009 the tradition was reintroduced using younger vines. Mainly Merlot, it shows developed cassis and subtle oak spice on a smooth palate with silky tannins. Alc 13.5%
