De Venoge opens its doors Epernay’s De Venoge Champagne house has opened four guest rooms at its private mansion. Called Les Suites du 33, they will be joined by an apartment from November. De Venoge will also open a Champagne bar and boutique, L’Ecurie, in the former outbuildings opposite the maison, where guests can enjoy De Venoge Champagnes, fine spirits and selected dishes. McGrath joins Bonhams Erin McGrath is Bonhams’ new fine wine senior specialist in the US, and will be based in San Francisco, where the auction house holds four sales a year. Formerly with Wally’s auctions, McGrath has held several positions at Bonhams and will be responsible for all aspects of its wine sales on the US west coast, including consignments and advice to buyers and sellers.
