What I’ve been drinking this month

Australian fortified wines are celebrated for their complexity. However, I’d forgotten the deliciousness of young Australian fortifieds until I tried Noon, VP 2016. The spotlight falls squarely on the Langhorne Creek Shiraz fruit, succulent blackcurrant and blackberry, overlain by a palpable saltiness, a quieter tarry quality and textural tannins.
