What I’ve been drinking this month

There are two relatively new mountain estates in my neighbourhood. On Howell Mountain, Adamvs (pronounced Adam-us) is owned by Denise and Stephen Adams of Château Fonplégade in St-Emilion. The Cabernets are darkfruited, complex and long. Cornell Vineyards atop Spring Mountain is owned by businessman Henry Cornell. Consultant Françoise Peschon made the exquisite 2015 Cabernet reminiscent of a young Château Margaux.
