This estate is in the niche northern continental region of Rivera on the border with Brazil. The wine – Tannat blended with an unusual partner, Sousào, known in Portugal’s Douro Valley for its deep colour and biting acidity – has expressive fruit of boysenberry and blackberry, with lifted aromas of lilies and green peppers. The palate is tight with a linear structure refreshed by acidity and juicy fruit. A restrained style of wine. Drink 2020-2027 Alc 12.5%
