Expanding the tasting lexicon
Being an almost-certified WSET Level 3 sommelier in Bangkok, I always read all your tasting notes to improve my English and find inspiration, and I have to say that I found the description of ‘hints of nam pla’ in the Graham’s 30 Year Old by Sarah Ahmed in the Tawny Ports report ( January 2021), exotic and catching.
Not sure how many readers that resonated with, but, having lived in Thailand for so long, it meant the world to me.
