From the Castillo Ygay estate in Rioja Alta, this is aromatic and perfumed, with ripe berry fruits. Starts as ripe as promised, but then the crunchy acidity comes in, lifting the palate and creating a clean, savoury, almost mineral wine. Very refreshing, and memorably Mazuelo, rather than the usual characterless rosado blends. Drink 2021-2023 Alcohol 13%
