Giovanni Scaglione follows organic practices to produce this Moscato d’Asti in the Canelli sub-zone. Fresh peachy, floral scents and good concentration in the mouth make for a delightful aperitif wine. It has a mineral-inflected palate of peach, pear, apple and tropical fruits, with a subtle, prickly and slightly creamy mousse. Drink 2021-2023 Alc 5.5%

Tinned peaches, dried mango, baked pineapple, and honeyed stone fruits give a very rich and ripe character, but it’s balanced by reasonable acidity and a hint of stoniness. A long, bold finish.
