Sourced from the prestigiou­s hill vineyard of Gallina di Neive, this is absolutely delicious and hard to put down! Intense yellow fruit aromas with fig, mango and white flowers lead to a concentrat­ion of honey-drizzled apricot, dried mango, plum, lychee, peach skin and baked pineapple. Super-rich and incredibly exotic, it’s balanced by fresh acidity and a long, stony finish. Drink 2021-2024 Alc 5%

Giovanni Scaglione follows organic practices to produce this Moscato d’Asti in the Canelli sub-zone. Fresh peachy, floral scents and good concentrat­ion in the mouth make for a delightful aperitif wine. It has a mineral-inflected palate of peach, pear, apple and tropical fruits, with a subtle, prickly and slightly creamy mousse. Drink 2021-2023 Alc 5.5%

Grapes from the Canelli sub-zone give this a particular­ly floral nose, with pear and apple notes leading onto a concentrat­ed palate with a creamy mousse. Tinned peaches, dried mango, baked pineapple, and honeyed stone fruits give a very rich and ripe character, but it’s balanced by reasonable acidity and a hint of stoniness. A long, bold finish. The prickly attack has a good intensity of peachy and appley fruit, with some tropical notes and plenty of floral character. Fresh and slightly mineral, with a soft, creamy mouthfeel.
