City school hits all its tar­gets

DERBY High School has met the high stan­dards set in all ar­eas by the In­de­pen­dent Schools In­spec­torate (ISI).

An in­spec­tion was car­ried out by ISI in Septem­ber and the re­port showed that the school was meet­ing stan­dards in the eight re­quired ar­eas, qual­ity of ed­u­ca­tion; spir­i­tual, moral and cul­tural de­vel­op­ment of pupils; wel­fare, health and safety of pupils; suit­abil­ity of staff, sup­ply staff and pro­pri­etors; premises and ac­com­mo­da­tion at schools; pro­vi­sion of in­for­ma­tion (for par­ents); man­ner in which com­plaints are han­dled; and also the qual­ity of lead­er­ship and man­age­ment of schools.
