Four for Max lifts United into semis

MAX Williams scored four times to fire Melbourne United into the

Derby City League Under-15 Cup semi-finals with a 6-0 away win to Castle Donington.

Cain Vaughan had a hat-trick for Stanton Ilkeston United in their 7-2 quarter-final win over Stanton Ilkeston, whose goals were both scored by Kia Chambers.

Two goals each for Kian Roome and Bobby Battisson helped Division One leaders Belvedere Park beat Mickleover Sports 6-0, while Jenson Cooper and Kia Moore both scored hat-tricks for second-in-thetable Derwent to beat Ripley Town 9-2. Tyler Hill scored twice for Ripley.

Alvo Boys’ Mitchell Gadsby scored four goals in his team’s 7-0 home win against Sleetmoor United.

Division Two leaders Belper Town Juniors had a 4-3 home victory against second-placed Erewash to maintain their 100% league record.

Sam Hunt, Ben Harrison, Aiden Horspool and Will Steeples scored for Belper, Ethan Bailey netting twice for Erewash.

Max Dutton scored twice for Duffield Dynamos in their 5-2 home win against Belper Sports, Harrison Penfold scoring twice for Belper.

Matt Still struck four as Spondon Rovers beat West Hallam Juniors 10-2 in Division Three. Liam DavisHughe­s and Alex Gale replied for West Hallam.

Owen Jorge scored twice as AFC Chellaston beat Field Lane 4-3 despite Zacko Holland’s hat-trick.

Codnor Boys beat Mickleover Jubilee 4-3 in Under-18 Division One, with two goals each for Ronan Suffolk of Codnor and Ethan Lowe of Jubilee.

Ashby Ivanhoe’s Ben Windridge scored the only goal as his team beat Heanor in Division Two.

James Brown scored twice for Belper Sports, who beat Field Lane 4-1, Adam Hayward replying.

Belper Town Juniors beat Erewash 6-4 in Division Two. Duffield Dynamos saw off Heanor Juniors 7-1 and Littleover Dazzlers beat Stanton Ilkeston 2-1.

Division Three leaders Spondon Dynamos Prims had a 2-1 win against Ilkeston Town Juniors, while second-placed Allestree Juniors recorded a 1-0 home win against AFC Chellaston.

Mickleover 95 and Stockbrook Colts shared a 5-5 draw.

Division Four leaders Heanor Town beat Sinfin Sharks 6-0, as second-placed Kingsway Colts won 5-0 against Codnor Boys.

Allenton United, in third, had a 2-1 victory over Ashbourne Aztecs, while Elite Sports racked up a 21-0 win against Mickleover Jubilee.
