NATURE’S GREAT MIGRATIONS

Eden, 6pm

NOW that Serengeti has finished, here’s a new series to help fill the ‘epic and emotional wildlife show’-shaped hole in our lives.

Shown over three nights, it follows different groups of animals as they embark on the incredibly long and dangerous journeys their species must undertake to survive.

The programme makers have used seriously cutting-edge technology to get up close and personal with the animals and produce stunning imagery.

This first episode follows a group of more than 1,000 elephants as they travel to the Samburu reserve in Kenya, facing threats from both animal predators and human poachers, so they can gather together to find food – and a mate.

Tomorrow’s episode follows 10,000 caribou as they undertake the world’s longest land migration through the Arctic, then on Thursday it’s the turn of thousands of zebras to cross lioninfested territory en route to Nxai Pan National Park in Botswana.

KEEPING FAITH

BBC1, 9pm

THERE’S a whole load of tension in the Howells household, with the news Evan is being released from prison early.

It’s definitely not for good behaviour, as he’s still meeting with Gael Reardon and helping her, whilst also apparently working with the police to stitch her up.

Who knows what he’s actually up to or whose side he’s on.

Faith clearly doesn’t, and is battling with the fact that she doesn’t really want him back.

Especially now she and Steve have admitted their feelings for each other.

But they’re all still caught up in Gael’s criminal world – and things are only getting worse.

When a body is discovered, Gael looks spooked and visits Evan in prison to ask if she has anything to worry about.

Seems Faith certainly does, as PC Williams calls her in for a friendly chat after learning the victim called Faith before he died, urgently asking to meet.
