Cry me a river

-

TO celebrate the soap’s 35th anniversary, the Walford residents are having a boat party on the Thames, but the revelries will be cut short by a shocking incident – although given how many storylines are culminating at the event, there may be more than one.

The action unfolds over four episodes, all set on the same day.

The residents set sail to celebrate the Carters winning the pub of the year contest but it isn’t all jubilation for Mick as he watches Linda toast their impending divorce.

Shirley attempts to make her see that she does still love Mick, but, as Linda gets drunk on the boat and becomes paranoid over her husband’s relationship with Whitney, she embarrasses herself and her family. What should Mick do?

Kathy encourages Ian to reach out to Bobby, but the decision may be taken out of his hands when his son needs emergency surgery after being attacked.

So, when Bex reveals who’s been harassing Bobby on social media,

Ian heads to the party to confront them.

That’s not the only potential fight brewing on the boat, as Phil and Ben come face to face with the very-much-alive Keanu, who has kidnapped Callum and is threatening to kill him, just as Sharon goes into labour.

If that wasn’t enough drama, Sonia makes a shocking discovery and Patrick plans to be honest with Isaac.

Jack and Max come to blows, and prodigal son Peter Beale returns with another new face.

By Friday, the Walford population is down by one – but who will meet an untimely end?
