Motorists given points for speeding

THE following drivers were given points on their licence by Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court for speeding.

■■Diane Poxon, 47, of Derby Road, Borrowash, was fined £220 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Nottingham Road, Spondon, on September 5, 2019.

■■Nicola Prew, 46, of Holbrook Street, Heanor, was fined £220 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Heanor Road, Heanor, on September 6, 2019.

■■Sylwester Zygmunt Rajski, 33, of Marlborough Road, Allenton, was fined £93 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on August 28, 2019.

■■Nicola Richardson, 42, of Warmwells Lane, Marehay, Ripley, was fined £220 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on October 7.

■■Marie Summers, 49, of Marshall Way, Ilkeston, was fined £220 wih £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 40mph in a 30mph limit in Victoria Avenue, Borrowash, on October 7, 2019.

■■Julie Worswick, 60, of Station Road, Ganton, Scarborough, was fined £140 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given six penalty points for speeding at 66mph in a 40mph limit on the M1 at Breaston, on December 20.

■■Joshpal Singh Bola, 25, of Woods Meadow, Elvaston, was fined £76 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 60mph in a 50mph limit in Raynesway, Alvaston, on October 12, 2019.

■■Ioan Bostan, 60, of Silk Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, was fined £220 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on October 12, 2019.

■■Ionut Cirmaci, 37, of Hickling Close, Long Eaton, was fined £220 with £85 costs, a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph limit in Tamworth Road, Long Eaton, on October 5.

■■Michelle Cole, 48, of Pingle Place, Swadlincote, was fined £92 with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge and given three penalty points for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph limit in Burton Road, Woodville, on October 4, 2019.
