Israeli troops kill ‘attacker’

THE Israeli military said soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian after he attempted to run over them with his vehicle yesterday.

No Israelis were wounded in the attack, which took place north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. Tensions have soared in recent weeks as Israel has vowed to proceed with plans to annex large parts of the occupied West Bank in line with US president Donald Trump’s Middle East plan, which strongly favours Israel and was rejected by the Palestinians.
