Decadence of few costing many lives

-

SINCE the start of this pandemic we have had a complete lockdown, and further lockdowns in certain areas, and we have realised the crippling effect of these lockdowns to not only our economy but the economy of every country in the world.

In recent months we have come to recognise that there are many people in this country who believe they are above the law.

We are continually being told by government that it is only a small minority. Well, 1% of the population is a small minority, and that amounts to 678,900 people, and how many of those 678,900 people are passing the infection on to the rest of us law-abiding citizens?

That is enough irresponsible, arrogant and selfish people to keep this virus going for years. We are undoubtedly one of the worst behaved nations in Europe (we are still attached to it) but many of the rest are not much better.

We are therefore looking at a virus which could be around for years and could cripple most of our economies completely, not to mention the millions of lives which will be lost.

Many will be due to the decadence of just 1% of people living in the western world, ie, the people with no respect for authority of any kind, no respect for others, certainly no respect for the law of their land and no respect for themselves.

Why? Because for years there has been no discipline in this country, either in our homes or our schools, and unless discipline is introduced at an early age, instead of that moronic notion of “selfexpression”, discipline, including self-discipline, will never be learned.

The abolition of military service was the worst thing that ever happened in this country, because that instilled discipline into those young men who had not learned about it much earlier.

Whatever happens we will have deserved it.
