Penalty points for drivers after speeding

THE following motorists had their licences endorsed with penalty points by magistrates in Derbyshire for speeding.

■Shaun Brear, 28, of Ashover Road, Chaddesden, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph limit in London Road, Derby, on January 25.

■Xenofon Christodoulou, 26, of Wilsthorpe Road, Long Eaton, was fined £200 and given six penalty points for speeding at 55mph in a 30mph limit in Nottingham Road, Borrowash, on May 23.

■Luke Davis, 29, of Station Road, Langley Mill, was fined £461 and given six penalty points for speeding at 52mph in a 30mph limit in Crosshill, Codnor, on May 10.

■Aaron Freeman, 48, of Haddon Way, Sawley, was fined £120 and given eight penalty points for driving without insurance and for speeding at 41mph on a 30mph limit in Longmoor Lane, Sandiacre, on January 31.

■Simon Green, 48, of Harvey Road, Derby, was fined £440 and given five penalty points for speeding at 59mph in a 40mph limit in Warwick Avenue, Derby, on January 25.

■Joshua Blood-Holland, 26, of Flax Croft, Hatton, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 39mph in a 30mph limit in Burton Road, Woodville, on April 3.

■Sergej Boicuk, 53, of Lanark Street, Chaddesden, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on April 2.

■Philip Charlton, 68, of Fairfield Road, Horsley Woodhouse, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Heanor Road, Heanor, on April 4.

■Jaroslaw Lichacz, 38, of South Drive, Newhall, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Woodland Road, Stanton, on March 26.

■Ahmed Mohamed, 34, of Becher Street, Normanton, was fined £220 and given three penalty points for speeding at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Osmaston Road, Derby, on March 30.

■ ■Sam O’Gara, 22, of Tamar Avenue, Allestree, was fined £107 and given three penalty points for speeding at 37mph in a 30mph limit in Kedleston Road, Derby, on May 29.

■Luke Pearl, 27, of Pear Tree Avenue, Ripley, was fined £220 and given six penalty points for speeding at 48mph in a 30mph limit on the A610 at Sawmills, on May 1.
