Public’s help is sought after pair rob boy, 17, of his moped

POLICE are seeking the public’s help over a robbery in which a teenager was kicked off his moped by two men who then stole the vehicle.

It happened on Thursday, April 15, at around 8.30pm in Shipley Country Park in Heanor near Osborne’s Pond.

The victim, 17, was riding his grey Peugeot Kisbee at the time

Two men approached and kicked him off his moped. While the rider was on the floor, one of the men picked up the moped and rode off.

One of them is described as wearing a black track suit, while the other man was wearing blue jeans.

Inquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to talk to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or anyone who may have seen the moped

since April 15.
