Phoenix keen to build on outlet success
DERBYSHIRE brickwork, scaffolding and drywall business Phoenix Brickwork has completed a £1.15 million contract at the new £160 million McArthurGlen shopping outlet, in Cannock.
Phoenix provided brickwork and blockwork services, creating shopfronts, retaining walls and security features for main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland.
The new shopping outlet opened last week and has 80 outlets for brands including Kurt Geiger, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Ted Baker as well as Haribo, Starbucks and Five Guys.
Contracts manager Jamie
Duerden said the project was a step-up for Phoenix. He said: “We are thrilled to have contributed to the completion of such an exciting new retail destination for the Midlands, ensuring it is ready in time for its opening as lockdown restrictions ease and the public returns to safe retail spaces.”
