Get outside and away from your screens

WHAT a brilliant letter from Tony Morris (“Enjoy the real world, not one we see online”, April 29).

His wonderful comment “get out and smell the fresh air and see the landscapes etc” is just brilliant.

Everyone at the moment is spending most of their time staring at a screen or mobile phone.

My childhood was spent with my family and having fun with friends and neighbours.

Now I do not use social media at all if I can help it. Getting out and about and, yes, definitely “smell the

fresh air” will give you exercise and pleasure. You cannot beat talking to someone face to face.

Life should be enjoyable and fun, not sitting down staring at a screen.

Spring is here, leave the internet or work alone for just a little while and enjoy a lovely walk.
