Motoring offences

THE following people have had cases heard before Derbyshire magistrates for a variety of motoring offences:

■■Mohammed Rizwan, 26, of Derby Road, Burton, was fined £146 and given three penalty points for speeding at 77mph in a 60mph limit on the M1 at Breaston, on September 10, 2020.

■■Stuart Burton, 33, of Donington Drive, Woodville, was fined £120 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Cadley Lane, Swadlincote, on October 3, 2020.

■■Jordan John, 26, of Burton Road, Derby, was fined £253 and ordered to pay £110 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and was disqualified from driving for six months for driving without insurance and with an expired licence in Lower Dale Road, Normanton, on June 13, 2020.

■■Marek Mroc, 34, of Burton Road, Derby, was fined £120 and given six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Almond Street, Derby, on June 12, 2020.

■■Daniel Currie, 31, of Manor Road, Littleover, was fined £346 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance in London Road, Derby, on September 20, 2020.

■■Leanne Jones, 33, of Cedar Road, Castle Gresley, was fined £120 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had her licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid MOT certificate Driftside, Blackfordby, October 5, 2020.

■■Ali Liu, 45, of London Road, Derby, was fined £660 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and had her licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance in Harvey Road, Derby, on July 8, 2020.

■■Erik Adam, 21, of Bishop Lonsdale Way, Mickleover, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £34 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with three penalty points for driving without a valid licence in Main Road, Brailsford, on August 12, 2020.

■■Asad Ali, 18, of Haddon Street, Derby, was fined £660 and ordered to pay £90 costs, a £66 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points for driving without insurance or a valid licence in Sacheverel Street, Derby, on August 27, 2020.
