Man and dog hurt in attack by Rottweilers
A MAN and a dog were injured after an attack involving two Rottweilers. Derbyshire police is investigating the incident, in Langley Mill at around 1.30pm on Thursday, August 12.
The 32-year-old man was walking his dog along part of the Erewash Valley Trail, when he saw another person with two Rottweilers approach.
The dogs came running towards him and their owner shouted at the man to pick his dog up. The dogs began to attack the victim’s pet and the man was also bitten while trying to separate them.
The victim’s dog was left seriously injured and required treatment at a vet. The man was also treated at hospital for a bite wound, although his injury is not described as serious.
