Road closed by industrial fire
A ROAD was closed in both directions last night after 12 engines were called to an industrial fire in the early hours yesterday.
The blaze started in an industrial building in Stapleford Road, Trowell. It was reported that the fire started just after 1.30am.
Twelve engines arrived at the scene in the early hours of the morning. Firefighters from Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire fought the blaze. Police urged people to avoid the area and to keep doors and windows closed.
No one was in the building at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
