Gas boiler political talk is just hot air
BRITISH citizens, older ones in particular, feeling apprehensive about the availability and longevity of their gas boiler, should not be unduly anxious or concerned – for gas, oil, coal and nuclear power will all continue as major contributors to Great Britiain’s energy requirements going forward. Sheer lunacy is afoot, but the present hysteria will pass.
Government ministers should avoid the energy talking shops and listen to industry and their voters, neither of whom will be agitating for swingeing tax rises, limits on foreign travel, modes and frequency transport and other activities that make life worthwhile.
A tasty fillet with black pepper sauce springs to mind.
Politicians must realise that idle hands make devils work.
