Anita Rani hosts this one, secretly filming the cash-strapped and the spendy, then waving the footage in their faces for extra shock factor.

Financial experts Emmanuel Asuquo and Anna Whitehouse then go through every detail of their lives – from bank statements to food wasted at the back of the freezer.

The first victims are couple Rohini and Alex, who have two kids and live in Cambridge. Having had health problems, Rohini would like to save money and cut down her working hours.
