Drivers given endorsemen­ts for speeding

THE following drivers had their licences endorsed by Southern Derbyshire Magistrate­s’ Court for speeding.

■■Andrew Jervis, 46, of Victoria Street, Melbourne, was fined £440, ordered to pay £110 costs and a £34 victim surcharge and banned from driving for six months for speeding at 36mph in a 30mph limit in Woodland Road, Stanton, on April 20, 2020, and again at 38mph in a 30mph limit in Burton Road, Woodville, nine days later.

■■Sadafe Khamir, 34, of Cummings Street, Normanton, was fined £440, ordered to pay £110 costs, a £44 victim surcharge and banned from driving for 56 days for speeding at 81mph in a 50mph limit on Snake Pass, Bamford, on January 5, 2021.

■■Oliver Morrell, 19, of Leamington Road, Branston, Burton, was fined £380, told to pay £110 costs and a £38 victim surcharge and had his licence endorsed with five penalty points for speeding at 58mph in a 30mph limit in Burton Road, Swadlincot­e, on October 23, 2020.
