Max may be target for trio
THREE Championship clubs are reportedly interested in signing former Derby County defender Max Lowe.
The 24-year-old Sheffield United left-back is attracting interest from Barnsley, Reading and Swansea City, according to reports.
Lowe joined United from Derby in a joint deal with Jayden Bogle in September last year.
He progressed through the Rams’ youth system and turned professional in the summer of 2015.
His first-team debut came in a League Cup tie against Carlisle United in September 2016 and his League debut came against Cardiff City the same month.
He made 48 senior appearances for the Rams and had loan spells with Shrewsbury Town and Aberdeen.
Lowe has played 11 times for United but he has not featured in any of their matches so far this season.
Bogle has played 23 times since joining United and has featured in two games this season – the Carabao Cup first round tie against Carlisle United and as a substitute in the goalless draw away against Swansea in the Championship.
