HEATHROW: BRITAIN’S BUSIEST AIRPORT
ITV, 8pm
Navigating airports has always been complicated and chaotic but the pandemic has more than slightly upped the ante.
Filmed over the last
18 months, we follow passengers trickling back into an airport dealing with ever-changing challenges.
Countries are on colour-coded lists with different rules, passengers must take tests and sign forms and distance and get vaccinated and wear masks… and the staff are bombarded with questions.
Passenger Service Manager Demi, above, is tasked with helping confused passengers, including one granny-to-be who has been turned away from her flight because by the time she gets to Zambia to meet her new grandchild – her Covid test will have expired so she can’t travel.
