Driver has Ferrari egged three times in a week

-

A YOUNG Derby businessman has had his expensive car vandalised for the third time in a week.

Abdul Ilyas says his orange Ferrari has been covered with eggs and flour at different locations across the city. He has then had to get it cleaned each time, only for the car, which is also covered with the logo of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin, to be attacked again. The supercar, which appears to be a Ferrari 296 GTB, sells for upwards of £200,000 new.

It is not the first time that Mr Ilyas, who previously owned a social media agency called Blu

Capital Education, and also owns an orange Mercedes G-Wagon, has had his cars vandalised.

In 2019, he had his bright blue Porsche supercar sprayed with graffiti which said “Robbed”, “take off da rich, give to da poor”, “show off” and a racist word while it was parked outside the Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, London.

That came just a week after his BMW M4 convertible was reportedly stolen from outside his mother’s home, where it was parked while he was on holiday in Dubai.

Mr Ilyas, from Derby city centre, then had to cut his holiday short at the cost of £400 to try to track down the car, which he had only been driving for three months.
