Council needs to clean up its act on travellers
TRAVELLERS left Merrill Way on Saturday night, leaving four piles of fly-tip, human waste and rubbish everywhere – see the photos.
It was reported to the council and they still fail the people of Derby by doing nothing to this small group that keeps getting moved on and leaving piles of filth behind in our green areas.
Why is the council not fining them for this? It baffles me. It’s disgusting and a waste of public money.
Get your enforcement officers on the scene, fine them, ban them from Derby, and seize their vehicles until they pay up.
Stop playing cat and mouse with these people and get your act together. You are letting Derby people down
