CCTV appeal after iPhone theft
A PHOTO of a man police wish to speak with about a theft in Sawley has been released.
The victim, a 44-year-old man, had advertised an iPhone 12 and AirPods online, agreeing to sell them subject to collection.
Two men later visited his address in Haddon Way and handed over an envelope containing what was believed to be cash in exchange for the items.
The pair had left before the victim discovered the envelope contained just a £10 note and slips of newspaper. The incident happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday, June 12. Anyone who may know the man pictured or has any information regarding the incident is asked to call Derbyshire police on 101, asking for PC Emma Taylor or quoting reference 21*326710.
