Classic bikes back at the mill
CLASSIC motorbikes will be returning to a Derbyshire mill for the first time in two years next month.
The sounds of a Vincent, Velocette and Kawasaki will be among those rolling up for classic show at Heage Windmill on Sunday, September 12.
Returning following the Covid-19 pandemic, the event will once again see awards given out on the day, which includes the Dave Cleaver Trophy for best bike.
Running from 11am to 3pm, there is no entrance fee or parking charge, but donations towards the upkeep of the windmill will be gratefully received.
Light refreshments will be served and, weather permitting, the sails will be turning. There will also be a Bric a Brac and stoneground flour milled on site for sale.
