The man, in his 20s from Derby, was arrested in the Kent area on Thursday and is to be questioned by officers, Derbyshire Police said.
Police have also released new images of a man and woman they would like to trace following the burglary at Brookfield Farm, on West Road, Spondon.

Officers would like to speak to the woman and man pictured and have appealed for any information on a vehicle showing the registration plate 04-KE-3642.
Investigators say it may have travelled to the Tamworth area.
Detective Sergeant Scott McDermott said: “Our investigation is continuing into the theft of these dogs, but we still would like to hear from anyone who may recognise the people in the images, or if they have seen a vehicle with this registration and haven’t yet spoken to us.
“Thank you to everyone who has helped with our enquiries so far. We remain committed to trying to find Elvis, Tony and Remy and to reuniting them with their owners.
“I would urge anyone with information which could help to contact us or their local police force if they are outside of the area.”
