Moonlight

- Anne Thompson

Night is coming its getting dark. Curtains start to close and on comes the light.

The moon is peeking at us to say hello, am here didn’t you know. How lovely the moon does shine, stars by its side, shining bright. The moon is now at full glow, looking down on me,

I say hello.

I wonder if he can see me...

He is so far away but when I look at him he looks so close I feel like if I hold out my hand i can touch his happy smiling face.

Stars around him, I wonder if they know how really so far away he is. Twinkling stars in the sky, time for me to say bye bye.

Night night stars shining bright . And to mr Moon.

Night night to you to.

Keep shining bright i ask of you ....
