Superstar to play in city centre nightclub
THREE-TIME Grammy awardwinning DJ Paul Oakenfold will be playing in Derby city centre next weekend.
The trance music icon will be performing at Blue Note in Sadler Gate on Saturday, September 4.
Paul Oakenfold is one of the most influential DJs in the world and has provided remixes for hundreds of artists including Madonna, U2, and Michael Jackson. The star, who has performed on the main stage at Glastonbury, will be supported by Paul Morrell, Pete Wye and Rob Webster.
Organisers for the event said: “To get to see one of the biggest DJs in the world, in a small, intimate and great venue, up close and personal is unheard of.”
Blue Note reopened last month following the lifting of Covid restrictions. Its owners used the closure to undertake renovations. Tickets for the event can be purchased on BlueNote’s website.
