War-torn people should stand together

SO Boris Johnson says he is going to move heaven and earth to get these people from Afghanistan that qualify to live in the UK and the British ambassador to Afghanistan has told people to make their way to borders so they can cross into other countries.

We do not owe the Afghan people anything. We tried to but you cannot help people that will not help themselves.

If the UK had done what the Afghan people have done in the Second World War the Nazis would be in charge, but we stood together and times were very hard.

Everything on ration but the country stood together, unlike the Afghan people.
