Afghanistan chaos is Blair’s legacy
TONY Blair was a soft touch for domestic terrorists and their supporters or negotiators. It was quite easy really, just ask them to Number 10 for some tea, cake, concessions and a nice chat.
Starting a war thousands of miles away, with a total cost of maybe 20 to 30 billion pounds to the UK taxpayer was the way to deal with international terrorism.
The heads of our political elite are stuck so far up their rumps that they fail to notice UK pension poverty. Elderly people are struggling to eat and stay warm on £9,000 a year state pension.
Charity has to begin at home and Tony Blair’s disastrous crusade to Afghanistan must be our last. Tony Blair, Middle East peace envoy, should consider getting a permanent block capital tattoo reminder of his folly.
Each letter of Tony Blair’s “AFGHANISTAN” tattoo would represent around £2 billion of UK taxpayers’ money wasted in a pointless war, not to mention the countless British lives lost or permanently scarred.
