Electric bus offers carbon cutting help

-

BUSINESSES are to be offered advice on carbon reduction during a series of workshops being held in the run up to the Cop26 conference later this year.

The workshops will be provided by Planet Mark, a sustainability and net zero certification group that forms part of the United Nations-backed Race To Zero campaign.

The aim is to raise awareness among businesses about the urgent need for firms to cut their carbon emissions.

Planet Mark’s electric powered battle bus will visit 30 towns and cities across the UK, starting in Cambridge on August 31 and finishing in Glasgow, where the Cop26 conference is being held in November. In the East Midlands, it will visit the Motorpoiny Arena in Nottingham on September 24. The events are free to attend.
