What does the R rate really mean?

SO tell the public what this rise in R rate means. In my eyes it means nothing. We get on with living, but, will it mean another unnecessary lockdown, pubs, shops and small businesses will suffer again, people hiding in wardrobes or under the bed, if not.

Don’t scaremonger, don’t try to brainwash the vulnerable anymore than they have already been. The death and case figures are and have always been wrong.
