Friends celebrate 112 years of city park
THE Friends of Normanton Park would like to use the letters pages to publicise our forthcoming Fun Day event.
On September 4, Normanton Park will be 112 years old, and to celebrate this birthday, we are holding a fun afternoon for our local community.
There will be a number of stalls and activities, plus games and a chance to find out more about the park’s history.
The event runs from 3pm to 5.30pm, and all are welcome.
