Billings takes top two spots from the Etwall club

THE Burton & South Derbyshire Federation pigeons were liberated at Yeovil at the weekend.

Five members of Etwall & District Flying Club sent 64 birds with Steve Billings taking the top two positions.

His winner was a mealy cock, doing 1236, followed by a blue hen doing 1163.

In the next two places was Willy Horton with a mealy cock and a red cock both doing 1140.

Osmaston Park Homing Society had seven members sending 93 birds and taking the red card with a blue hen doing 1232 were Shenton Brothers, Ron and Norman.

In the next three spots was S & HW Hall with a cheq cock doing 1215 followed by a ch/pied hen doing 1212.3 and a silver hen doing 1212.1.

From the Holbrook club, 10 members sent 258 birds and the winner was Richard Croff with a cheq hen doing 1249.

Taking the next three positions here was Rob Pearson with a blue cock doing 1246.5, followed by a b/cheq hen doing 1246.3, closely followed by a blue hen doing 1246.
