HELP US TO END HYGIENE POVERTY

BEING CLEAN ISN’T A PRIVILEGE, IT’S A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT

-

Dear readers,

over the past 17 months, Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on families across the UK

– and it has added to the numbers who are struggling to afford basic hygiene products.

We believe it’s not right that feeling clean should be a luxury for anyone in our society, yet many people are living in poverty and cannot afford the means to do so. And a lot of children are facing the prospect of returning to school without access to products such as soap, shower gel or toothpaste.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with Boots to support its partnership with The Hygiene Bank in providing essential hygiene products for families across the UK. Together we can make sure every child goes back to school feeling clean this September.

Items donated to The Hygiene Bank are distributed to support children and families in need across the UK, and will make a real difference to those who need help most. If you want to get involved, go to Boots.com or pop into your nearest Boots store to donate.

Yours, editor
