Date for Normanton Park celebrations

THANK you so much for printing my letter about our birthday event, and for adding the lovely photos.

However, I realise that I forgot to mention that the actual date of our celebration is Sunday, September 12, between 3 and 5pm, and not Saturday, September 4.

Friends of Normanton Park would be most grateful if you could correct this as soon as possible so that nobody turns up on the wrong day.

September 4 is the date the park was opened back in 1909, so we have chosen a Sunday near to that date.
