Two strangers are bought a house at auction, given a renovation budget and a few months to get the job done.

Property experts Simon O’Brien and Tayo Oguntonade, inset, are on hand to help, but the strangers must work together to turn the property around. Make a profit, and they are quids in.

In Crosby, Merseyside, accounts manager Courtney and kitchen and bedroom fitter Scott are horrified as they try to see the potential in a dilapidated three-bedroom house in Liverpool.
